Re: FSiPanel and FENIX A320 Release Oct 20

Hi,

When you fire up FSiPanel it will automatically update to the latest version if one is available. You will be presented with a dialog informing you of this and it contains a list of the changes. Just press the Update button and FSiPanel will do the rest. it will shutdown, update, and restart.

Re: Fenix A320 and FSI Panel

I'm pretty sure it's in beta testing.

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi J-P While testing the new procedure I came across another bug you might want to look into. I was practicing a landing at Heathrow on 27R and found that FSiPanel set up the approach for 27L! The ILS was set for 269 on 109.5 ILL. I left everything as set and did a go around to align with 27L and di...

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi J-P Bingo! I set everything up as normal in MSFS and FSiPanel but this time tried a different procedure. This time I released the parking brake in MSFS and then immediately pressed Move Aircraft in FSiPanel. The engines spooled up, speed increased, and the aircraft started to position correctly. ...

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi J-P

No the parking brake did not release, and the speed did not increase even though the engines spooled up.

I’ll try again this morning with the brakes released before starting FSiPilot.

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi J-P I thought I might have a clue as to what is happening with my setup. I use a Addon Linker App which allows me to keep my Community basically empty except for Symbolic Links ( symlinks ) to the actual storage location. So this morning I moved all the relevant files to the community folder and ...

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Thanks J-P FSiPanel installed again and updated to latest version. Unfortunately I'm still getting the same problem with the FBW A320. I've tried the Development version and the Experimental Versin with the same results. Everything seems to work up to the point where I'm prompted to move the throttl...

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

HI JP, Well I tried several attempts to get the Advanced Version of FSiPanel working using the new procedure for the FBW A320. I could get as far as setting up EGGD 09 Long final and pressing move aircraft. The programme would then go through the normal prompts i.e. Move throttles to Climb. Engines ...

Re: FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi JP

Yes to both questions. I’ll try again today. There have been a lot of changes to the FBW A320 since I last used it. I’ll check the documentation to make sure it’s set up correctly. I’ve been spending most of my time with the Fenix.

FBW A320 NEO New Procedure.

Hi JP I had a few minutes spare yesterday and tried the new procedure outlined in your latest video. Unfortunately the two attempts I tried resulted in an unstable scenario and both times the A329 went into A Floor mode. I didn’t have time to troubleshoot, it may have been due to changes made in the...
