Re: Request for Training Scenario, LOWI Circle to Land RW08

Hi J-P, I haven't tried any of the scenarios after the latest update (will try one tomorrow if I find time), but I found that snapshots which I saved before the update do not seem to work any more. I have one that after loading immediately goes into a death spin without any thrust, another one was a...

Re: Positioning on a STAR

Hi J-P, understand what you are saying, though when you select the STAR in FSiPanel then you do also select the transition, so wouldn't this be enough info for FSiPanel to program the correct STAR into the MCU? Granted it's not a huge deal to select the STAR in the MCU manually, but it would certain...

Positioning on a STAR

Question - when I select a STAR as a custom position, is FSiPanel supposed to enter that STAR into the MCU (PMDG 737) when it's setting up the aircraft, or do I still have to input it manually?

Thanks!

Re: Starting altitude for snapshots

Hi Dirk, FSiPanel takes the MCP altitude when saving the snapshot to avoid all kind of wrong behavior due to altimeter settings and other factors. So when you save a Snapshot, your MCP altitude shall be the same as aircraft altitude... Cheers, J-P Thanks for the clarification, makes sense! Dirk

Re: Random airport?

To try Random airport feature, you could update stock airport DB by clicking on SETUP / OPTIONS / Update DB. This action will take around 20 min, after that you should be able to select a random airport. Ah, will give this a try, thanks! The idea in the near future is to only use Navigraph database...

Starting altitude for snapshots

Hi J-P, I noticed something about creating snapshots, and just want to know if that's intentional or if it's a bug... I started an approach with FSIPanel, was all set up in the cockpit, ALT HOLD at 8000 feet, dialed in a lower altitude of 3000 ft on the MCP (but still holding at 8000), and then crea...

FSIPanel chose approach type incorrectly

Hi J-P, yesterday I wanted to practice the RNP RWY 08 approach in LOWI (starting at ELMEM). Although I set the approach type priority in the PMDG settings to ILS RNAV LOC VDM the FSIPanel configured the MCU for the LOC DME West approach to 08. It should have chosen the 08 RNP instead, right? This ac...

Random airport?

Hi,

how do I make the 'Random' airport functionality work, or is it maybe not supported in MSFS? When I click on the 'Random' button nothing happens...
