Re: P3Dv5 with PMDGXu crashing
Hi,
sorry to hear that, I do not have any other user with this issue.
Could you please try the following:
After the positioning, when you have the control, shutdown FSiPanel and fly your approach.
Any crash CTD ? In this example, FSiPanel will not be running anymore.
Cheers,
J-P

Re: T7 Custom Waypoint
Yes it can be. One easy solution when you want to fly Pilot Waypoint or STAR at high altitude is to initially position the aircraft on downwind (this will be clean configuration) and when done, move to your high altitude position. That should work as the gear is already retracted. I will do some tes...

Re: T7 Custom Waypoint
Yes correct. You can take control and then quickly turn all switches OFF and then back ON without delay. Gear is controlled via PMDG SDK, I was able to get the same issue with the gear even though I'm using only keystroke. Could it be based on the altitude? If for example you select an enroute pilot...

Re: T7 Custom Waypoint
Ok, the 737 trick did not work on the 777. I have tried something which seems to be working, please confirm on your side. When the aircraft is released by FSiPanel, switch OFF all 8 HYD switches and turn them back ON, no delays between switches. I did that and the gear went down normally during the ...

Re: T7 Custom Waypoint
Hi, I'm looking for an alternative way to handle the gear when positioning the AC. We had same issue on iFly 737 and I found a work around recently. I will give it a try on the 777 to see if it fixes the issue. I will let you know later today, I have put the task on my todo list this afternoon. Chee...

Re: P3Dv5 with PMDGXu crashing
Hi,
Sure you can, FSiPanel does not modify any configuration file (P3D and PMDG).
Let me know the result.
Cheers,
J-P

Re: P3Dv5 with PMDGXu crashing
Hi Richard,
I think we spoke by mail recently.
Could it be a corrupted P3D installation?
Regards,
J-P
