Hi J-P, understand what you are saying, though when you select the STAR in FSiPanel then you do also select the transition, so wouldn't this be enough info for FSiPanel to program the correct STAR into the MCU? Granted it's not a huge deal to select the STAR in the MCU manually, but it would certain...

Question - when I select a STAR as a custom position, is FSiPanel supposed to enter that STAR into the MCU (PMDG 737) when it's setting up the aircraft, or do I still have to input it manually?

After updating the airport DB the Random button now works fine, thanks!!

Hi Dirk, FSiPanel takes the MCP altitude when saving the snapshot to avoid all kind of wrong behavior due to altimeter settings and other factors. So when you save a Snapshot, your MCP altitude shall be the same as aircraft altitude... Cheers, J-P Thanks for the clarification, makes sense! Dirk

To try Random airport feature, you could update stock airport DB by clicking on SETUP / OPTIONS / Update DB. This action will take around 20 min, after that you should be able to select a random airport. Ah, will give this a try, thanks! The idea in the near future is to only use Navigraph database...
