Any plans to support the new expansion in 2017 version?
I have both 2017 and 2020, but I feel like using 2017 more for now. Any updates to support the new release and update of PMDG 777 would be appreciated!
PMDG 777-200ER Expansion in FSI Panel 2017?
Re: PMDG 777-200ER Expansion in FSI Panel 2017?
Hi,
Priority will be for 777 on FSiPanel 2020.
As this is a new line of 777, it might become incompatible in 2017, we have to see when released. I will work on it if required.
Cheers,
J-P

Re: PMDG 777-200ER Expansion in FSI Panel 2017?
I have 2020 too, mainly for supporting FSI Panel's good work.
The main issue is IRS alignment that has stopped me from using 2020 for now. I use realistic alignment therefore I have to wait at least 7 mins before I can fly with FSI Panel for the 1st time. I know I can either use cheat start alignment or my waiting time in 2017 restarting each time would be even more time consuming, but at the time being I am quite happy with 2017 due to familiarity and my saved scenarios.

Ok I see.
I will release today a new update for FSiPanel 2020 supporting the new 200ER.
You can as well save Snapshots on the new version and fly many approaches without restarting the sim.
for the IRS, do you start every flight with engines OFF ?
Cheers,
J-P

That's awesome!!!!
Re: PMDG 777-200ER Expansion in FSI Panel 2017?
I have updated FSI Panel 2017. I can see 777-200ER in the option list!
However, seems it is still broken for the 777. Please see the attached for the ER.

Did you import the ER and then restart P3D with the default aircraft?
Same result with 300ER or 200LR ?

Re: PMDG 777-200ER Expansion in FSI Panel 2017?
Yes. I did import a new -300ER and also -200ER. Different problems. See attached for the -200ER. The engine exceedance seems due to the thrust is initially set at maximum thrust before spooling down.
I have updated 2020 as well, but haven't got the time to test them yet. Will try tomorrow. Thanks again for your prompt reply.

Last pic seems ok? Nothing i can do for the engine overheat unfortunately. Give it a try on 2020, she flies like a charm.
