I see that sometimes I am not able to choose a custom waypoint even though it exists in the database.
For example, here is a picture of my FMS on my flight to MDPC.
If I want to choose the custom waypoint GRAMN and press the search button, the waypoint is found.
However, if I try to choose the next waypoint, SEBIS and press the search button, it is not found.
In fact, many of the waypoints are not found, though I see they are in the database at
C:\Users\simin\AppData\Roaming\FSiPanelNavDB\NavData\ints.txt
Also there is no check for upper/lower case, so GRAMN will be found but gramn will not. Small detail, but could confuse some people.
I am using Navigraph data and I have used the Update Database button in FSiPanel to import the data.
One thing I notice is that MakeRwys generates files which are in alphabetical order, whereas Navigraph's files are in order of latitude. Perhaps that's a clue as to why some points are not found?

Re: Some custom waypoints not found
Ok, I just had a look.
There is a limitation for the WP search, FSiPanel was only looking at waypoint within 1000 miles radius from your airport.
I have added now an option to increase the radius to max 2000NM.
I was able to search WP in lower case without any issue, could you try it again?
For the TCAS TA offset, you will be able to change the offset in the config file.
All these changes will be pushed on the next update.
Cheers,
J-P

Re: Some custom waypoints not found
I tried again and this time a lower case search worked. Not sure why it didn't before.
I'm looking forward to the next update! Where will we be able to get it?
Does FSiPanel check for updates on start up?

Hi,
Yes, you will be notified automatically when the update is available.
Can't give an ETA, I'm working on a lot of new things.
