Hi

I just purchased the FsiPanel and after installation and activation was performing the Airport Update in Setup.

But I get a failure message:

"Error Downloading/copying MakeRunwys.exe not found..."
"runways.txt or runways.xml not found. Unable to continue"

Please help advise. Thank you.

Could you please check that FSiPanel has internet access.
Sometimes Windows defender or an antivirus suite is blocking.

Thank you for your quick response. Internet was available with defender turned off etc.

Interestingly after a while of just using FSiPanel without the Database Update, I checked the Setup again once more and found that the Database status showed as updated with date. And now everything is fine.

Thank you for developing this awesome application. I really love it. Makes flying approaches so much easier and interesting.

I have the same problem when I try to update my airports database.
I have updated P3D to the latest version (5.2), my internet connection is running correctly and the defender antivirus is off.
MakeRwys.exe is present in the P3D directory.
I have never had this problem before. Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Just tried and it worked on my side.
Bitdefender however blocked FSiPanel internet, I had to allow it in the antivirus menu.

Update worked normally.

Could you please try again and post log.txt for troubleshooting.

It's fanny because yesterday evening for any logical reason and without forcing the update by pushing the relative button, the database has updated correctly.
Anyhow I attache the content of log.txt for your information.

I'm getting exactly the same error today. I'll try again tomorrow.

Never had this problem before.

July 23 : Still same problem, even after complete re-install.

Aug 15 : I still have not been able to get this to work.
