Wierd Mouse/Keyboard Action when using Flows

Post by gstraight »

I really love to use the FSIPanel flows when I am running the scenarios but I have noticed some strange actions by my mouse and keyboard.

I use an Open Office spreadsheet to keep track of major steps as I run the various scenarios. I also use FS2Crew for the Fenix A320 to run checklists, etc.

Everything is functioning as expected up until I use the before start and follow on flows. At some point after using the flows, my cursor will not allow me to select a cell and scroll the spreadsheet, instead multiple cells are selected and I cannot scroll the spreadsheet. I have a multiple monitor setup and after running a flow the taskbar on one monitor would look squirrelly, sort of blinking.

Another couple of issues were revealed as I ran my most recent scenario. I was running the JetBlue 318 scenario and when I tried to enter data into the FS2Crew approach brief, I could not. Any attempt to enter data resulted in the computer beeping at me and no input was allowed. Also when I was advised by the scenario to contact Boston tower, I could not. I had used the “hot” key up until that point with no problems.

The cursur problem has become quite annoying and the FS2Crew issues just started during my last scenario.

Hi,

What is your key combination used to open the flows? Maybe interfering with an existing Windows or other software binding?
Can you try to change it?

Cheers,

I just starting running the Southwest 330 scenario and the keyboard and mouse started acting up again. I was getting the multiple cell selection with the mouse cursor and I screwed something up in the scenario and tried to use the ESC key to get out of the flight. The ESC key would not work.

To call up the flows I use Touch Portal to enter the CTRL, SHIFT, F11 key combination.

I tried the CTRL SHIFT F11 combo without using Touch Portal and I had NO problems.

I don’t know why Touch Portal would have any impact.

strange, I don't know this Touch Portal and how it sends the keystroke.
