FsiPanel for VR

Post by Bazz Young »

Hi there J-P, happy new year. I was excited to see in your Christmas message that you’re developing an update that will work with VR. Does that mean we’ll be able to see the FsiPanel messages without lifting our headset? That would be fantastic!!!
Any idea on timeline. Best wishes - Bazzz

Hi,

Yes all messages will be readable on the simulator, so headset on for the instructions and scenarios.
You will just need to prepare your scenario from FSiPanel interface and then launch it from within the simulator.

I can't provide an ETA, I will post back when we enter beta phase so you can try it and report your feedback.

Cheers,

J-P

Hi,

A tool is on beta now allowing the scenarios to be flown in VR, is that what you want to do ?

Actually not really that, just that the menus (setup/aircraft is being prepared/aircraft is ready to go) are visible in VR so it is not necessary to take off the headset.

Hi
I also fly exclusively in vr.
Am I able to use your product in vr?
I’ve used your product for years and have been waiting for the vr compatibility to be implemented.
Please advise
Thx Lee
