Career mode or newbie?

Post by ProfPeej »

Hello all!

I’m having trouble getting FSi to connect.

I’m running the latest version of each app

MAFS 2024 - via steam
FSi - 1.0.014

I’m in career mode. Is this the problem?

I think that FSi has to be started first?

Hi,

I'm not sure why you want to use FSiPanel in Career mode ?

You need to start the sim first with your aircraft, then enable in-game module and finally start FSiPanel.

Thank you.

Reason why I’d like to use it in career mode is when I’m flying long missions I can reposition the aircraft on final and save a bunch of time.

Basically as a hack.

I'm having the same problem, cannot get module back on Career mode after 1 successful run. Works in free flight fine though.

Probably Microsoft blocking it to avoid cheating in career mode.
As FSiPanel is designed to train approaches, I never tried it in career mode as you're supposed to do a complete flight, isn't it ?

i mean you can skip the mid flight part but at a huge strike to your payout.. With all the bugs with flight penalties in the game at the moment its nice to be able to skip the part that docks your pilot rating a crazy amount and also get the full payout without having to sit there for like 4+ hours :)
