Plane resets position

Post by j9murphy »

I've set up an approach on a STAR and taken control in fsipanel, however the plane continually resets its position to 5nm from the first waypoint repeatedly after a few seconds. How do i prevent this? (TBM930)

I figured out this happens if I leave fsipanel running after I take control. If I close fsipanel once I take control then everything works as it should. Is this the expected behavior?

Hi,

How do you take control ? if you hold your brake or press the button on FSiPanel main window, the TBM should not reposition..

by pressing the button "Take Control" in the fsipanel UI. Once I do that, the tbm then resets its position before the first waypoint every few seconds. It start 5nm out, then approachs 4nm then resets itself to be 5nm out.

Hi,

Did you try to take control with your brakes ?
Moving the aircraft back to its original position every few seconds is an expected behavior, when you take control you shiuld be position back and then aircraft should be flyable.

The first few times I tried to take control with the brakes it didnt work so I used the UI button. I'm going to reinstall FS2024 from scratch and then I'll try again with brakes.
