FSiPanel and FENIX A320 Release Oct 20

Post by jpgarraio »

FSiPanel 2020 for MSFS will be compatible with Fenix A320 on October 20th, 2022. The airbus will be compatible with the standard and advanced editions of FSiPanel. Pilots will be able to fly an approach within seconds with FSiPanel setting the whole cockpit including MCDU!

Complete failures panel and training scenarios will also be available on advanced edition.
A live event showing FSiPanel in action with the Fenix A320 is scheduled just before release at 1800UTC.

Captain Blackbox, a real world A320 pilot will host it on his YouTube channel, more info and link shortly.

Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for latest news about FSiPanel.
Safe landings,

Great news, JP. What happens if you are in flight (already in CLB detent) with a FPLN loaded in MCDU and you setup an approach with Fsipanel? Is FPLN erased? Thanks

Hi,

It won't touch the MCDU if you untick the option in FSiPanel options for the Fenix A320.

You will just need to get out of CL detent and then back to CL detent to start the process

Cheers,

Forgive my ignorance, but how are updates performed and how can I determine if I have the latest version of the program

Hi,

When you fire up FSiPanel it will automatically update to the latest version if one is available. You will be presented with a dialog informing you of this and it contains a list of the changes. Just press the Update button and FSiPanel will do the rest. it will shutdown, update, and restart.

Hi,

Can you try to restart your PC, maybe FSiPanel was still running and therefore could not be updated.
