Flightplan in STAR-Training not active

Hello,
when I start a new training approach with a STAR, the flightplan written by FSiPanel is not active. It is always a dotted line. I do select the correct arrival on the MCDU. Still it is not active. So in the videos one see, the flight plan, which is entered is always active (a green line).
Why is in my case the flightplan not active and dotted line only? Sometime I can make it active via APPR pb, but that doesn't always work.
Has anybody experienced that, also?
