Hi! I'm enjoying FSiPanel very much. I've been trying the various airplanes I fly. I'm having a challenge with the Cessna CJ4 Jet. I using the WTT CJ4 version and unable to acquire the LOC and G/S using the simple setup buttons. I've only been successful when I've programed a simple flight plan with the FROM/TO as the same airport and add an ILS Approach. The ILS frequency is autotuned. I press the APPR button and it switches to LOC1 and captures both the Localizer and the G/S. It proceeds to fly down to the runway. Important to note that a flight plan can only be entered when it's on the ground, not in the air. Therefore, this quick flight plan must be entered prior to moving the airplane into the air.

Can you please confirm that these steps are necessary for the WTT CJ4?

Hi,

FSiPanel is unable to set ILS frequency on this aircraft (at least for now, I'm working on it)
So you could just enter the ILS freq and CRS and you should be able to fly the approach.

This problem is known unfortunately for the WT CJ4 if you look on different forums.
I have found a work around to be able to set ILS frequency, please have a look at the video below

Thank you J-P for making that vid. I just watched and it's essentially what I did to fly an approach. I didn't know it's a known issue. Good to know.
