irs not aligned

pmdg 737-800
choose airport runway waypoint etc
everything seems to be alright
click on move aircraft window appears and says preparing approach
then small window appears in centre of screen and says "please align IRS first"
irs are aligned spawned on runway
cant get fsipanel to go any further
need to close down
any help very much appreciated

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your message, there are 2 reasons why this could happen:

• MSFS was not restarted after the 737 was discovered for the 1st time by FSiPanel

• You're not flying with the latest version of the PMDG 737, please check it using PMDG Operation center

thanks for quick reply i have tried both of your suggestions and i have the same problem
i am using the latest pmdg updates from the operations centre which is 3.0.63 i do check that often
my computor and MSFS2020 are closed down on a daily basis
i have tried 737-700 as well as 800 with the same problem on both
i tried inibuilds A310 that works great so pmdg is the problem
have you any other ideas please

Try this - it worked for me

delete config.xml in FSiPanel directory and then restart FSiPanel with the 737 loaded in MSFS:
FSiPanel will then look for your folder and activate it, and all should be good

Hi J-P,

I am experience the same problem. Although the IRS is aligned, FSIPanel is still stating that I have to align the IRS first.
When also select the runway in the position page, the totally wrong runway is entered in the FMS. I tried to slow down the programming speed, unfortunately no succes.

Im using the lastest PMDG version (3.0.72) and the latest Sim Update 13,
Also I removed the config.xml also as stated in this thread.

Maybe it has something to do with the sim update??

Hello,
I'm experiencing the same problem, i'm fully updated on the sim and the PMDG 737-800.
I attempted multiple restarts of the sim and computer, as well as the deletion of the config.xml file.
