When you do a long final, using an ILS, it is my understanding all you have to do is go to the EFB and remove chalks and GPS and go to Mass and Balance and setup an amount of fuel etc... I thought FSI panel would then set the MCDU ZFW/CG for you, but seems you have to manually do this?
It also seems like after you land and do another final approach, using same ils you have to redo all the weights in the MCDU.

Re: Fenix flying ILS
Hi,
If you want to practice approaches, you need to set your desired weight and fuel, aircraft handling is not the same empty versus max landing weight. For that you use the EFB. After landing, the ZFW is unchanged but you burned a bit of fuel during your approach, therefore up to you to pick up fuel or fly with the amount left in your tanks.
For the training scenarios and airline flights of FSiPanel Advanced Edition, the ZFW and fuel will be set by FSiPanel as the scenario is based on a specific weight, cruising level, low fuel after Go-Around, etc.
Have a nice day,

Re: Fenix flying ILS
HI
Good question but if you want to use Select FIX with Star.
in that case you begin your fly perhaps 20mN before landing.
Is it better after set-up parameters in EFB (weight, fuel, passengers)to entry these data ZFW/CG in MCDU?
Regards
Many Thanks for you excellent software

Re: Fenix flying ILS
HI,
If you fly a STAR, just take the fuel that you need for your arrival.
Make sure to have your Fenix using the same unit as FSiPanel (Kg or Lbs)
Enable the ZFW entry in Setup / FENIX Your aircraft will then have correct weight and speed.
