PMDG 738 drifting off before pilot taking control

Post by shapke »

Hi, when I position the PMDG 738 for an approach, it starts to drift off before I take control (i.e. apply brakes for 3 sec). When I am in the Fenix A320, everything works fine and the aircraft is regularly reset to the desired initial position until I take over control. Am I missing something with the PMDG 738?

Hi,

Normally the 737 should be in position freeze until you take control.
Could you check that your parking brake is off when you click MOVE AC.

Thanks, JP,

I confirm the parking brake is off. So, overall, the aircraft is still frozen, but it is drifting away with the wind. I have no problems with the Fenix A320, but my PMDG 738 doesn’t maintain its position.

very strange, the only reason is if you took the controls.
Did you get a message from FSiPanel, "You have control" ?

Also saying settings flaps, etc ?

Hi JP,

I tried again, didn't change anything with the configuration of the plane or my procedures, and now it seems to work. Sorry if I caused any inconvenience. Let's close this thread now, I am sure it will work now.

In any case, thanks a lot for your great work and your commitment. FSiPanel is by far one of the best tools out there!
