In App Upgrade Fails for 2020 and 2024

Post by Free2beee »

Hi, when it asks if you want to upgrade, I say yes it goes through the upgrade but then it says cannot up date the WASM, use the new installer from your account, I download the latest installer and the same things happens, both version do not go beyond that. I also tried uninstalling from the Windows App list using the uninstaller but that did not make any difference.
The message I receive is shown below.

Error installing new WASM module
Please re-install FSiPanel using latest installer from your shop account.

Hi,

Looks like a security issue maybe with your anti-virus not allowing FSiPanel to write in your community folder?

Have you checked if your community folder location is correct under SETUP/ License Information?

You can also manually update the WASM module, check WASM module manual instruction in FSiPanel directory.

Let me know,

Regards,

Hi there.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried the manual method of copying the .wasm file of 6/6/25 into the FSI>modules location but it won't let me copy and paste it.

Further to my last, when i try to manually extract the compressed FSI_Panel.wasm there is an error extracting. Could you send another update please as i think the compressed file is corrupted? Thanks.

Please go to SETUP / Troubleshooting.
Click on CHANGE location for community folder, make sure the location is correct and click OK
This will install the modules.
