FMC not complete when fying star.

Hi JP, I am flying the 737 800 ngxu on P3Dv5.3 and using FsiPanel Standard Edition and have a problem with loading and flying a Star.
After loading my a/c at the destination airport and runway and choosing my star and start point, the NGXU loads in at the requested alt and location but my FMC is only set up for a start at a discontinuity and then a final approach waypoint, so I have to input all the waypoints (incuding my start wp) up to that approach waypoint.
Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Hi,

You're doing nothing wrong, FSiPanel does not set the STAR on the FMC, only the ILS approach if available at the airport.
Too many possible transitions on a STAR, reason why I left it to the pilot.

Hi JP, yes, after doing a bit more searching I found your video on how to fly a star with the b737, so my fault for not taking a bit more time searching. Thanks anyway for replying.
