Plane not waiting for 3 seconds braking

Post by pike002 »

Hi all,

My pmdg 737-700 does not wait for the 3 seconds braking.
It immediately starts flying.
There is no parking brake assigned to any controller.
I use my toe brakes only (Logitech Flight Rudder Pedals).

Why does the plane not wait for me?

Kind regards,
Pieter Kemper

Hi,

The only reason why FSiPanel will give the control to the pilot is if brake pressure is applied, maybe your brake pedals are not correctly calibrated?

Hi J-P,

Can you give a value for the maximum allowed offset.
It must be very small.
I can apply a correction but I need to know how much.

I'm lost now.
I do not apply any brake pressure, but the plane start moving nevertheless.
It must be something else, not pedal braking.
Please assist.

Please give me a list of all possible control assignments that may cause the apparently faulty brake pressure.
It must be a control setting in msfs2020, but I don't know which.

FSiPanel is monitoring BRAKE LEFT POSITION Simconnect variable.
If the value is positive, pilot is applying some brake pressure.

If you have FSUIPC, you can monitor and log this variable.

Have a look at the video below I made for you.

Many thanks.
I will look into it.
I'm sure I will find the issue now.

No idea, it seems that your Simconnect is not stable and does not report correct information.

The strange thing now is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
The "BRAKE LEFT POSITION" values seems to be OK.
But sometimes the plane is released even when the value is zero!

This morning it started working OK again.
I can't predict what it tomorrow will be.

Unfortunately FSIPanel is useless for me in this state.
Anyway thanks for making the "private" movie for me.
